I have no ambition and far too much imagination for my own good. This doesn't look great on a resume.

I am committed, however, to finishing my book in the next two months. I will give it to my mother and Squirrel to read and Oprah, too, if she'd like a copy.

Welcome to the Summer of Promise & Enterprise.

I need to find a job.

You're quite right, my dear, this IS the Summer of Promise and Enterprise. And don't let a few minor details like a job search get you down.

As for my thoughts on gender equity -- I mean, maturity -- per your previous post, I might add one. It is, that, with the purpose of marriage now entirely divorced from the procreation of children NO WONDER folks in our generation aren't getting married. They are truly holding out for someone perfect who will complete THEM. Hence the curse of ambiguity and "not knowing what they want." Rather, if we view marriage in light of populating the earth, we will be much more outward-focused and much more eager to take the plunge. At least that's my hope. Bring on the babies!

Sorry for the tangent. Feel free to delete. ;)

Much love, your partner is S.O.P.E. crime, MJC

I quite agree with MJC ( I do believe I know those initials).

Rag tag band of kids and dogs and perhaps a cat will grow anyone up. I'm ready to grow up.

Much love,
