answers: 10 cents

I've decided to become an advice columnist.

It is a practical calling -- helpful, with room for common sense, creative thinking, gentle admonishments, cheeky replies.

Do you have any quandries?

I will help you solve them.

I have a quandry. There is this job. I think I could love it, but it's just not ready for me. When I look into its eyes, I see my interests, my passions, maybe even my vocation, a weighty word to be sure.

And then there is the other job. It seems to be following me. Despite my flippant hesitancy to commit, it follows at my heels, whispering: I'll pay your bills. I want to wait, but then again, I don't.

I have a quandry. I think I'm falling in love, yet the daunting prospect of countless sacrifice and deep gains is too scary. I am fighting it with every fiber of my being.

Dear AC,

How does one explain the quirky phenomenon that life hands us. As my husband and I are of exceptional intelligence, and strive to make everyday as educational as possible for our children how do you explain the nemisis of our entire being. What is this, you ask? Well, please explain how we are to make intelligent offspring when Spongebob is in the world?
